Teacher Gifts

This past week Harrison  finished up with Pre K.  We wanted to give a little something to his music teacher, creative movement, Bible teacher, director etc without spending a lot of money. We had just made Mixed Berry Jam. Since my Son helped picked the berries and make the jam so he was proud to gives these out.

SO we put a little Tag on the them and a small spatula that I had won a bag of of at a party last year and we were done.

For a couple of of the teachers that that were really special to time we added a small piece of pottery from a local potter.

Graduation

This past week was Harrison's last week of preschool and graduation. He was SO EXCITED about gradation and I think the thought it was going to be a much bigger production than it was. But it was a good day. Mama even head up better than expected. This going off to school in the fall is very HARD for this Mama... I am just NOT READY for an empty house all day. BUT we are so PROUD of Harrison and everything he as overcame to get to the little boy God wants him to be. He is the light of our lives. We are are blessed beyond measure.

He even did the opening for his graduation and he did such a great job.

And you know we had to have a little party when we got home. It is amazing how much fun $12 at the dollar can be. Decorations, 2 big gallons, and some hot wheels and super heroes.

Strawberry Picking

Last week we headed to the strawberry patch with some friends. We came home with lots of berries and even went back again over Mother's Day weekend. We LOVE strawberries and I am glad I found a good local source to pick them. And I LOVE that Harrison enjoys learning about where our food comes from too.

Just a Saturday

This spring Harrison has been enjoying playing soccer and football and we have had a blast watching him. He is still not the fastest player but he is really starting to "get" the game and is playing smarter. we have 2 more soccer games and 3 more football games.

Last weekend Harrison played the best he ever has. In football he also got a touch down and 2 flags. But he just played well in general. Watching the ball, and the other players, and paying attention. He LOVES it.
And they are just about too cute... even if they are tough football players

Silly Football

Football is almost over and Harrison has SO enjoyed it. The boys on his team are just too sweet and his coaches are SO GOOD with these kiddso.

Garden May 10, 2012

This is where our garden is so far this year. We are enjoying lettuce and have onions about ready, even a few peppers starting to grow.

I planted my herbs in pots in case I need to move them and they take up less space this way too.
Harrison is NOT a much help this year as he was last year, but he is still excited about the garden.
I have some broccoli but not sure how that is going to turn out this year, lots of onions. about 15 pepper plants 19 tomato plants, some celery and an few peas. I have room for a few more tomatoes just have not got the plants yet. I also am going to plant a few cucumber plants when we till the lettuce up.

Juice Plus Excitement

I am still enjoying learning more about Juice Plus and helping others take more control of there health. It is GREAT for everyone and today is a great example of that. I placed an order for a Grandmother with cancer, two adults my age with no major health concerns, but they want to keep it that way, along with their 2 children and a for a college student. It is for EVERYONE. What a GREAT way to bridge the gap of what we know we should be eating and what we actually get on a daily basis. If you want more information about the Juice Plus or Tower Garden please just ask I would LOVE To share more with you.

Fishing Trip

A month or so ago Dad called to see if we would like to take a fishing trip. I knew Harrison would enjoy it but was afraid he would not last long enough and that Dad would feel like it was a waste. But we were did not give Harrison nearly enough credit.  We fished a day and a half and the boy NEVER ONCE asked to stop or go back to the room. He did not fish the whole time but he had a great time, we all had a great time. It was a really fun trip, and I am sure it won't be the last.

Aquarium

Last week  we took a last minute trip to an aquarium for the day. Football and Soccer games were cancelled due to rain so we took a road trip. We had been there right at 2 years ago so it was neat to see Harrison Grows.
